Financial support for LSSM is diverse. Your financial support is vital to the delivery of legal services to our low-income clients. Without your support many client needs would go unmet, potentially resulting in denials of justice that could have tragic repercussions for families in our community. Your tax-deductible donation helps LSSM save homes, assist the elderly and disabled, prevent homelessness, protect those who have been abused, and prevent the destruction of families. Your donations can literally help us change lives. Please donate to assist in LSSM's efforts to provide “a wealth of justice to those who have neither.”
Yes, I want to help ensure the continuation of needed services by LSSM. Please use my tax-deductible donation to expand services to the poor. Your contribution would have an enormous impact on LSSM's ability to help many more vulnerable individuals and families gain equal access to justice. Giving to LSSM is a very effective and efficient way to make a difference.
The generous financial support of our friends in the legal community and the general public helps maintain LSSM as the front line law firm for poor and low-income people in Southern Missouri. Your tax-deductible contribution to the Annual Fund Drive will support the efforts of LSSM advocates to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families who depend on us for access to justice. A donation to this campaign will help expand services in the 43-county service area of LSSM. Your generosity will allow us to: help battered spouses escape domestic violence; defend low-income tenants in unlawful evictions and force landlords to rectify dangerous housing conditions; and protect the elderly from scams.

Building Justice For All Capital Campaign
For 30 years, Legal Services of Southern Missouri has pursued justice by providing civil legal aid to low-income people. To meet critical community needs, we have added staff and served more people in crisis each year.
Legal Services of Southern Missouri faced desperate overcrowding at its headquarters in Springfield, Missouri. We had grown in response to community needs and had to lease a second office across town. With the space crisis, LSSM was forced to turn away volunteers and interns due to the lack of work space. Furthermore, LSSM has been unable to seek new grants to provide direct services to clients due to its inability to hire additional staff. After extensive research, the Board of Directors determined it would be more cost-effective and efficient to build its own facility. The “Building Justice For All Capital Campaign” has been launched to help pay for this critically needed office facility. With your financial support, our new office space will help us increase the number of clients we serve and respond to pressing community needs well into the future.
Springfield Office Bar Campaign
Support from public-spirited law firms throughout our service area makes it possible for LSSM to provide access to justice for thousands of poor and low-income people who otherwise could not afford an attorney to help them seek their legal rights. Participation in the Justice for All Campaign enables members of the legal community to fulfill one of the legal profession's most basic tenets, “Equal Access for All.” Your generosity will help sustain our ability to provide legal assistance to individuals and families and important legal information and education to others. A donation to this campaign will help expand services in the following 19 counties in the southwestern portion of LSSM's service area: Barry, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Howell, Laclede, Lawrence, Oregon, Ozark, Polk, Shannon, Stone, Taney, Texas, Webster, and Wright.
Charleston/Cape Girardeau Offices Bar Campaign
The generous financial support LSSM receives from law firms, individual attorneys, corporations, foundations, and the general public demonstrates solid community backing for LSSM's mission and is a reflection of our strong ties with the private bar, the business sector, and the communities we serve.
By increasing funding provided by a variety of federal, state and local grants and such voluntary support enables LSSM to provide access to justice to thousands of poor and low-income people who otherwise would have nowhere else to turn for help with their legal crisis—when domestic violence or poor housing conditions endanger their health and safety, unscrupulous landlords and scam artists threaten to turn them out of their homes or an error denies them their rightful access to medical care and supportive services. A donation to this campaign will help expand services in the following 12 counties in the southeast portion of LSSM's service area: Bollinger, Butler, Cape Girardeau, Carter, Dunklin, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Perry, Ripley, Scott, and Stoddard.

Over the years the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association (SMBA) and LSSM have shared joint priorities in advancing the administration of justice. To celebrate our past and help ensure future access to justice, we have initiated the “Legacy Campaign” to support the continuation of our joint priorities. The SMBA and LSSM are joining together to seek support from every attorney to raise $500,000 to help retire the debt of the LSSM and SMBA Buildings. Retiring the debt as soon as practical will allow LSSM to increase client services. It will also allow the SMBA to keep pace with the changing face of the legal profession and continue to provide you with high quality services. Donors to the “Legacy Campaign” will be honoring its Bar Association with naming the community room at LSSM Headquarters the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association room. This room not only serves the legal community, but the Springfield community at-large. Donors of the “Legacy Campaign” will be recognized on the Wall of Honor located inside the SMBA community room at LSSM.
